Mateo Marasas

Mateo got an early start with cycling at the age of 8 on BMX bicycles in Argentina. Through his Junior career, he worked his way up to the Argentinian National Team, racing nationally and internationally. At the age of 21, Mateo moved to the United States and continued racing BMX for Lindsey Wilson College and individually in the USA BMX National Series in the Pro category.

Like countless other athletes during Covid, Mateo was in search of something to fill the void and gave track cycling a go. Since he began track in 2021, he’s won five national titles and achieved many wins and podiums in other UCI races. Today, Mateo is a part of the track national team in Argentina and Mateo is eyeing the LA 2028 Olympics.

We’re proud to see him sporting the Chaney Windows & Doors/Pastaria p/b Big Shark team kit and are looking forward to seeing him represent us on the track on the world stage soon.
